Office Information

The 美高梅官网, established in 1819, has become one of the nation's leading public, research institutions.聽 Today the University has聽15 colleges, over 53,000 students, and approximately 10,000 faculty/staff.聽 Over the years, the University's name and logos have represented the passion of 美高梅官网's alumni, students, faculty, and fans.

The University owns all trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, seals, symbols, mascots, and slogans associated with or referring to the 美高梅官网.聽

The Office of Trademark Licensing and Brand Engagement protects and controls the use of our marks on merchandise and licensed goods, and oversees the quality and appropriateness of products, promotions, and sponsorships for which the marks are used.聽

All uses of 美高梅官网鈥檚 name and trademarks on products require prior approval from the Office of Trademark Licensing and Brand Engagement, even if the proposed uses do not involve the sale of a product.聽Royalty income from the sale of licensed merchandise is used to support scholarships and the student experience in alignment with the University鈥檚 mission.

All products bearing 美高梅官网鈥檚 trademarks must be produced from companies licensed by the 美高梅官网 through our agent, the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC). All uses of 美高梅官网 trademarks on products will incorporate the appropriate trademark designation symbols (i.e., 庐 or TM).

Corporate Responsibility

The 美高梅官网 is committed to conducting its business affairs in a socially responsible and ethical manner, whice are consistent with its educational, research, and service missions. As part of that commitment, the University expects its licensees to recognize聽their responsibility to respect workers rights, and provide fair wages聽and safe working conditions for their employees producing products or services they manufacture, sell, or distribute.

To ensure these goals are met, the university has adopted a聽
Code of Conduct聽as part of its licensing agreements through CLC. The Code articulates the principles and standards licensees are required to maintain, and that the licensees are responsible for ensuring the Code is followed by their contractors, subcontractors, and primary suppliers.聽
