Welcome to the Office of Government Relations. We serve as the public policy arm for the 美高梅官网 at the federal, state, and local levels. We advocate for policies to support 美高梅官网鈥檚 strategic direction, Next Lives Here, with elected officials and policymakers.
Our Work
The Office of Government Relations engages on behalf of the University with legislative and executive leaders in Washington DC, Columbus, and Cincinnati. Our goal is to find collaborative solutions with government officials that advance our region and economy through the transformative power of higher education. 美高梅官网 is a national leader in cooperative education, workforce development, and world-class research. Government is a critical partner in our efforts. We support university policy priorities related to workforce development, student access and affordability, research, and innovation. 美高梅官网 President Neville Pinto launched Next Lives Here, our strategic direction, in 2018 with a vision to be:鈥�� 鈥淟eading urban public universities into a new era of innovation and impact.鈥� As he often says, Next Lives Here reminds us every day, that the next generation of citizens and leaders lives on our campus today and it is our sacred responsibility and privilege to educate them with the skills, values and habits that will enable them to thrive.
