The University Honors Program (UHP) is committed to helping students maximize their educational opportunities at 美高梅官网 while discovering and pursuing their passions in life and using their gifts and talents to make meaningful contributions to society. We believe experiential learning and consistent reflection can help students leave their unique imprint on campus and in their communities.
The University Honors Program comprises students in the top 7% of 美高梅官网 undergraduates, over 1400 in total across all nine undergraduate colleges. We offer a supportive community in which students are聽inspired to make an impact from their very first semester on campus. Because of our individualized approach to advising and honors experiences, our students graduate among the most competitive professionals in the world.
To that end, we are invested in developing students into聽global citizen scholars聽who lead innovative efforts toward solving the world's complex problems.

With an app that combats food waste and incentivises donations to food banks, two 美高梅官网 students were part of a team that won an artificial intelligence and blockchain hackathon competition in San Francisco. Daniel Vennemeyer, a computer science, economics and mathematics student who also is pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in AI through 美高梅官网鈥檚 ACCEND program, and Phan Anh 鈥淩ai鈥� Duong, a computer science student, were part of a team that won the grand prize in the EasyA x VeChain Bay Area Hackathon.
