Established in 1956, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is the leading source of information on the employment of the college educated. For new college graduates, career readiness is key to ensuring successful entrance into the workforce. There are eight career readiness competencies, as outlined by NACE, each of which can be demonstrated in a variety of ways.

Description
This course is designed to introduce and expand student competencies related to global career cooperative education and work-integrated learning via industry-based project work with university connections in Taiwan. The combination of increasing global career competencies through academic study and experiential learning will maximize student learning and develop the strategies and necessary skills for effective application when working with future colleagues from different countries, backgrounds and identities. Course material will address intercultural competences to increase effectiveness in how students engage cultural differences and collaborating effectively within project teams to develop and finalize technical project deliverables. This course will focus on professional development for students across all majors in 美高梅官网 colleges. |
