Dr. Annu Sible Prabhakar is a Professor in the School of Information Technology. Her research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction Design, Health Informatics, Diversity, equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D).听 听Her research has been presented at national and international conferences such as SIGCHI, IEEE CHASE, and Pervasive Health and received the best paper and honorable mention awards.听听

In 2013, she received the George Barbour award for excellence in student-faculty relations, a university-wide award. She is a winner of the Golden Apple award for teaching excellence. Dr. Prabhakar received her Ph.D. in Informatics from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.

She serves as an accreditation commissioner for ABET.听

Description of Committee

The IT Committee shall serve as a forum for discussion between faculty and IT representatives about all matters related to IT including technology related to teaching, research, and scholarship.听The committee shall serve听as听a means for communication between faculty and IT and from the committee to all relevant constituents.听Such听communication would include听information听relating to听updates and recommendations听discussed听by the committee regarding听relevant concerns that would require faculty deliberation, consideration, and/or action.(Charge approved on 3/5/2021)
