Lane Family Scholarship for Color Guard

- A maximum of two people recognized as an 鈥淥utstanding Color Guard Member鈥� of the Bearcat Bands
- By
- A committee consisting of the Band Director and Assistant Director/Head of Visual Ensembles
- Funds provided by the Lane Family
- Criteria
- Must have been a member of the prior fall season of the 美高梅官网 Bearcat Bands Fall Color Guard
- Must be returning member this upcoming fall season
- The recipient must be either a first year, second year, or third year member in school
- Recipients must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- The winner shall have demonstrated:
- Being prepared to every rehearsal and event
- Dependability
- Strong moral character
- Concern for the welfare of others and the band as a whole
- Has a passion for color guard
- A team player always willing to help
- Selection Process
- Determined annually by committee following an announced application process
- Renewable
- Yes, previous recipients and applicants may re-apply
- Amount
- $500 each
