Drum Majors
Jacob Lesick is entering his fourth year at the 美高梅官网, studying Political Science with a minor in Economics and a certificate in War, Peace, and Security. Hailing from Rossford, OH, Jacob participated in the Rossford High School Marching Band for five years, playing mellophone, trumpet, and fulfilling the role of Drum Major. Jacob is entering his fourth year with the Bearcat Bands, playing trumpet for one year before joining the Drum Major Team. Additionally, Jacob is entering his third year on the Band Council Executive Board, previously being elected to the role of Historian for two years before being elected to Vice President of Involvement for this school year. He is also a member of the Theta Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. Outside of the Bearcat Bands, Jacob is active in the Undergraduate Student Government, Sigma Sigma Honorary Fraternity, Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honors Society, the CYBERCORPS: Scholarship for Service Program, and is involved with the School of Public and International Affairs at 美高梅官网, specifically with the Center for Cyber Strategy and Policy as well as the Portman Center for Policy Solutions.
Gabe Patrick is in his fourth year at the 美高梅官网. He is majoring in chemistry, and also pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in cosmetic science. This is his 12th聽year in band, and his 8th聽season doing marching band. His primary instrument is the euphonium. Gabe graduated from Oak Hills High School in 2021, where he served as a head drum major during his final season. In his free time, Gabe enjoys reading romantasy novels, consuming any and all Star Wars media, fabulously styling hair, and cooking up some amusing chemicals in the lab.
Field Commanders
Garrett Frick will be serving as one of the Field Commanders this year and is from Zanesville, Ohio. This is his 3rd year in the Bearcat Band, playing the mellophone his first 2 seasons. As a 4th year student at 美高梅官网, he studies Environmental Engineering with a certificate in Communicating Public Health, Environment, and Science. He is also a sister of Tau Beta Sigma and a member of Engineers Without Borders. Currently, he is a member of The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps competing in Drum Corps International world class division. He is looking forward to another exciting season of Bearcats football and to meet all the new members!
Caroline Niederhausen will be a field commander for the Bearcat Bands this year.聽Caroline is from Strongsville, Ohio and is attending her third year at 美高梅官网-CCM as a double major in music education and trumpet performance. This summer聽Caroline is performing trumpet for her second year with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, a member of Drum Corps International.聽Caroline is a lifetime Girl Scout and a current member of the sorority Kappa Delta.聽Caroline is very much looking forward to this amazing opportunity and GO CATS!
