Trainings & Certifications
Campus Recreation is excited to offer nationally accredited courses for the future fitness professional. We aim to offer a prep course each semester that prepares individuals for their respective certification exam.

These courses through Campus Recreation will prepare participants to take the certification exam and provide practical, hands-on skills for leading fitness classes or working with clients. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have the chance to interview and audition for a position on the fitness team with Campus Recreation.

- NASM Personal Training Certification
- ACE Group Fitness Certification
- Schwinn Cycle Instructor Certification
Overview
All individuals interested in taking these courses will be required to submit an application as part of theÌýregistration for the course. Please note, only a limited number of individuals will be accepted into the course.Ìý

Completion of these courses does not guarantee employment with Campus Recreation. You will be required to interview and audition for a position.

Course Outline Includes:Ìý
- 4-8 weeks of in-person instruction
- Additional hands-on activities, assignments and labs
- Mentorship program with current instructors or trainers
- Mock sessions
