Daniel Posmik
Daniel Posmik graduated from the ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø in 2022 with degrees in Economics and Data Analytics. During his time at ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø, Daniel founded and led the Neo Initiative, providing pro-bono data science consulting to minority-owned small businesses.Â
After graduation, Daniel worked as a research assistant at the University of Chicago‘s Energy and Environment Lab. This experience has prompted his desire to pursue graduate studies in Biostatistics. As a Biostatistician, Daniel hopes to develop statistical tools to help policymakers make more unbiased and accurate decisions. He is particularly passionate about causal inference as it relates to complex and high-dimensional data.
Currently, Daniel is a Community Data Fellow at the University of Chicago and a Graduate Student at Large. In his free time, Daniel is an avid hiker, climber, and lover of dogs.Â
