Nika Umnov
Nika Umnov is a graduate of the ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø with a degree in industrial design. During her time at ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø, she completed 5 co-ops in Chicago, Richmond, Atlanta, and Cincinnati, and studied abroad in the Netherlands where she completed her minor in Interactive Environments. Her capstone during undergrad focused on blending auto-ethnography, material culture, and industrial design, an area of research that she continues to pursue.
She is currently a UX Research Fellow at Live Well Collaborative, where she works with multidisciplinary teams to create thoughtful, user-centered solutions to clients. In the past, Nika has worked within the packaging, healthcare, and information system design fields, making her a versatile designer. She hopes to continue using design as a means to educate, inspire, and help people.
Outside of design, Nika likes to climb, read, spoil her pets, and get outdoors.
