Parker Cellura (he/him), a May 2020 graduate of the ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø’s Political Science department, received an invitation to participate in Humanity in Action’s Netherlands Human Rights Fellowship this past summer. While attending ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø, he also earned his minor in Philosophy and certificates in Legal Studies; Professional Communication; as well as War, Peace, and Security.

In addition to his studies, Parker served as the President of ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø’s chapter of the Roosevelt Network–though which he has now co-authored and published a report detailing the financial sector’s growing influence within institutions of higher education, participated in the University Honors Program, and was a top performing delegate on ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø’s Model United Nations team.

Inspired through these experiences, Parker is committed to continue working in development and advocacy of equitable, data-driven public policy initiatives which enhance the representation and accessibility of the working class within democratic institutions.
