Incoming Freshmen Scholarships

The ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø is excited to provide scholarship opportunities that reward your achievements and assist you in meeting your college costs. More detailed information for these key campus-wide programs is available through the links in each paragraph. Additional information is available on the scholarship chart.

For maximum ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø scholarship consideration, incoming freshmen should complete their Ìý(the Common Application including ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø-specific areas, high school-submitted transcript, official test scores sent directly from testing agencies (when required), and at least one letter of recommendation) by the early action deadline of December 1.

Cincinnatus Scholarship Program

The cornerstone ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø freshman scholarship program continues to be Cincinnatus, a program that awards more than $22 million in ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø four-year scholarships. Awards are made at multiple levels to the brightest and most promising prospective freshmen in academic disciplines throughout all of the undergraduate colleges.

For Cincinnatus scholarship consideration, incoming freshmen must have their complete (to include official transcript and test score, when required) at ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø by December 1st of their senior year.

Scholarships are renewable for up to 8 full-time, in-class semesters subject to completing the annual 30-hour community service requirement and maintaining a minimum 3.0 grade point average.


ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø National Outreach Award

The ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø National Outreach Award is a scholarship program recognizing the academic merit of students coming to the ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø from designated states.Ìý

Students can be awarded a renewable annual award to reduce out-of-state tuition costs.ÌýFor consideration, incoming freshmen must have their complete (to include official transcript and test score, when required) at ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø by December 1st of their senior year.

ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø National Outreach awards are renewable for up to 8 full-time, in-class semesters subject to completing the annual 30-hour community service requirement and maintaining a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Further information is available from the Office of Admissions.


Darwin T. Turner Scholarship Program

Named in honor of the youngest person ever to graduate from ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø, the Darwin T. Turner Scholarship Program provides in-state tuition and book allowance stipend. First-time students admitted into a baccalaureate program must have a 3.0 GPA for consideration. Students must have a complete (including official transcript and test score, when required) at ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø by December 1st.

Scholars enjoy a strong sense of community through academic and service activities required for scholarship renewal.


Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program

The State of Ohio has awarded specialized scholarships to innovative STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) academic programs. Several proposals by ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø faculty have been selected to provide scholarship funding and programmatic benefits to recruit and retain Ohio STEMM students.Ìý

To be considered for these renewable awards offered in engineering, sciences, and allied health, mathematics with a focus in actuarial science, medical sciences, or nursing, incoming first-year students must submit a complete (including transcript) at ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø by December 1st of their senior year. Limited awards will be determined by the colleges of these academic disciplines.


Alumni Legacy Scholarships

The will review admission applictions of high achieving students within the Cincinnatus scholarsÌýwhose parent or grandparent is a ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø graduate and member of the Ìýdonors.

Students must have a complete (including transcript) at ÃÀ¸ß÷¹ÙÍø by December 1st.
