Open Enrollment鈥攁lso called online registration鈥攊s when all active students are able to register without special access or permission. Newly admitted students and students who have not enrolled in the past year will be able to register during Open Enrollment.

If you need to register after open enrollment has ended, you will need permission to do so.听 Review our Class Permission Requests page for instructions and other important information.

Important: Late permissions cannot be used for Flex Session classes. Review the instructions for adding a Flex Session class after open enrollment on the Registration How to Guide.

Any registration after a session has ended will require a completed Add/Drop Form. Review the instructions for Adding Classes After the Term Has Ended on our Registration How to Guide.

Dropped classes do not show up on your academic record, and you are not charged for a dropped class.

Reminder: Both drops and withdrawals use the drop action听in Catalyst. After the Drop Deadline has passed, utilization of the drop action听will result in a withdrawal.

Withdrawn classes will remain on your academic record, and the associated charges will remain on your bill.

After you have registered, there is a period of time when you are able to edit your credit hours (for variable credit classes) or your class grading basis (normal, pass/fail, audit) without special permission or additional paperwork. Watch our Editing a Class video for instructions.

The most accurate way to view your drop and withdrawal deadlines is in Catalyst.

1. Select the听My Academics听tile on your student home page in听
2. Open the听Classes and Schedule听accordion, and select听View My Schedule
3. Make sure听My Class Schedule听is being displayed under the听Enroll听迟补产
4. Select the听term, then click听Continue
   1. Classes in which you are registered will appear on the screen.
   2. You can filter what you see by checking or unchecking the filter options, if you wish.
5. Click the听calendar icon听next to a class to view the听drop and withdrawal deadlines听for that specific class
   • Remember, each of your classes could have different drop and withdrawal deadlines, so it is important to check the deadlines for each class.
   • Drops:
     • The class won't show up on your transcript.
     • You will receive a 100% refund.
     • 罢丑别听drop deadline听is listed under听Drop-Retain Record听补苍诲听Withdrawal Without Penalty.
   • Withdrawals:
     • The class remains on your transcript as a withdrawal.
     • Charges for the class remain on your bill.
     • 罢丑别听withdrawal deadline听is listed under听Drop With Penalty听补苍诲听Withdraw With Penalty.

Once you have either registered for your classes via Catalyst听or your Add/Drop Form has been processed, you will want to confirm that your registration is correct. Follow the below steps to double-check your registration.

1. If you are not already there,听login to听听
2. Click on the听My Academics听tile on your听Student Homepage
3. Select the听Classes and Schedule听drop-down menu
4. Choose听View My Schedule
5. Pick the radio button to the left of the听term听you want to confirm, and press听Continue

Your full schedule for the selected term will display on this page. Here are some guidelines to make sure your schedule is correct:

• Make sure the听status听of your class is听Enrolled,听Waiting听(for wait list registration),听Dropped, or听Withdrawn听as you had intended
• Verify that the听units (credit hours)听for the class are correct
• Verify that the听grading (normal, pass/fail, audit)听option for your class is correct
• Double-check that the听Days & Times听补苍诲听Start/End Date听match for the section you wanted to add

If the class is not showing in your Class Schedule, you are not enrolled.
