Content Review Sessions
Content Review Sessions promote content practice, peer-to-peer learning, study skills development, and metacognition among first-year students. Content review sessions are embedded in Learning Community configurations which include a Great Gateway course. Through tailored weekly review sessions of course material, students will collaborate with classmates and a Content Review Leader to work on practice problems, discuss correct solutions, and make plans for further preparation outside of class.
What is the difference between Content Review and Learning Communities?
Content Review is frequently paired with Learning Commons Learning Communities, which provide first-year experience programming and peer mentorship. During , incoming freshmen have the opportunity to join a Learning Community based upon their major or area of academic interest.
